What would your surgical strategy be here?
Male approaching retirement age in relatively good health who has failed numerous years of conservative management. He has been dealing with horrible progressive back pain and now uses a cane to help maintain upright walking posture. Minimal leg complaints. He is desperate to improve his pain, function and his overall quality of life.
